We launched the first edition of this survey and research in 2020 with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s specific needs and challenges, as the online gambling sector grows in maturity and regulation.
We commissioned this research to support the wider industry, understand and meet evolving stakeholder expectations, and help build a sustainable sector in the region over the long term. This report provides insights into online gambling markets across Latin America, highlighting local nuances from country to country. It details key trends shaping the industry in major markets, with data gathered from over 2,500 individuals of legal gambling age in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.
2025 is set to be an exciting year for Latin America, with Brazil and Peru officially launching online regulations. Brazil, in particular, is set to become one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing regulated online gambling markets.
