Playtech Celebrates Largest Tournament Series held on iPoker network

London, 22 January 2024 – Playtech, announced the completion of its iPoker tournament series, Elite Series Winter Edition, which has been the largest event ever held on the iPoker network, significantly surpassing the previous Winter Series from last year.

Held from December 1, 2023 to January 16, 2024, this year’s event significantly surpassed the €7,000,000 guaranteed target, collecting close to €10,000,000 in total prize pool and delivering more than 800 tournaments in multiple formats. The latest Elite Series Winter Edition comprised of daily tournaments with buy-ins ranging from €3 to €1,000 and a total of 93 events with a €20,000 or higher GTD. The event also saw the introduction of new flighted, Mystery Bounty and regular tournament setups.

Looking ahead, the iPoker Network will host the €5,500,000 GTD Bounty Hunter Series XL, following on from the great success of the Elite Series Winter Edition. Scheduled to take place from March 1 to April 1, 2024, the Bounty Hunter Series XL promises to be the largest Knockout Series ever hosted on the iPoker Network, further solidifying its position as a premier online poker destination within the industry.

The iPoker network also recently introduced a series of online satellites starting on January 8th, offering players even more chances to qualify for the upcoming Irish Poker Open tournament, Europe’s longest running No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament set to take place from March 25 to April 1, 2024. This tournament marks a notable expansion as the entire iPoker network, alongside the two Flutter brands, has joined forces to endorse the event, launching their own satellite campaign across nearly 20 skins on the Playtech poker network.
