Licensing Agreement Signed with Paramount Digital Entertainment
Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of software to the online and land-based gaming industry, announces today that it has signed a four-year, exclusive licensing agreement in respect of two of Paramount Pictures' film releases, "Gladiator" and "The Untouchables".
Under the terms of the licensing agreement, Playtech licensees will have the exclusive rights to distribute* a number of branded games based on the two titles. The agreement applies to games offered over two media: online, as part of Playtech's market leading casino game portfolio; and via land-based videogame terminals, as part of the Playtech subsidiary Videobet.
