Playtech today announces that Guy Emodi, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from the Company to pursue other business interests. With immediate effect Executive Director Shuki Barak, 39, will assume the role of interim Chief Financial Officer, a position he has previously held. Mr Emodi will continue to be employed by Playtech to ensure an orderly handover and expects to leave the Company at a date amenable to himself and Playtech. The Company is currently in the process of recruiting a permanent Chief Financial Officer and an appointment will be announced in due course.
Roger Withers, Chairman, said: 'Guy has played an important part in Playtech's recent growth. The Board will be sorry to see him leave and we wish him well for the future."
