Playtech announces licensing agreement with SEGA Games Limited, operators of www.SEGACasino.com and www.SEGAPoker.com
Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the leading international designer, developer and licensor of software to the online and land-based gaming industry, is pleased to announce that it has established a major agreement with SEGA Games Ltd. Playtech will provide SEGA Games, a wholly owned subsidiary of gaming entertainment giant SEGA Corporation, with a range of its online products for their online gambling platforms SEGAPoker.com and SEGACasino.com.
Under the terms of the license agreement, SEGA Games Limited will offer a full suite of premier online based poker and casino games, which have been developed and designed collaboratively by the SEGA Games Research and Development team and by Playtech. The software showcases much of SEGA’s proprietary IP, including Virtual Fighter™, House of the Dead™, Phantasy Star™, Nights™, and many other online casino games.
SEGACasino will feature a comprehensive suite of gaming products, including such popular games as Blackjack and Roulette, as well as customized SEGA branded Slots and more. Additionally at www.SEGAPoker.com, users will find a live multiplayer poker room with head-to-head play and tournaments, with up to 35,000 concurrent players. Players can now enjoy the SEGA ultimate gaming experience at the poker tables and in the casino room.
